DESTIN, Fla. (June 20, 2007) – In addition to over 100 designer names, the millions of shoppers visiting Silver Sands Factory Stores will soon have access to two exciting new restaurants, bringing delectable foods and nightly entertainment. Carrabba’s Italian Grill and Cheeseburger in Paradise are scheduled to open their first restaurants in the Destin area this summer at Silver Sands.
“Both restaurants offer flavorful, quality food, that our visitors and locals are looking for,” stated Traci Stokes, marketing director for Silver Sands. “The Center will come alive each evening as the tropical sounds of Cheeseburger in Paradise and the aroma of Carrabba’s fills the area.”
Jimmy Buffett’s famous song will come to life when Cheeseburger in Paradise opens its first location in Northwest Florida at Silver Sands. Beyond the famed traditional signature cheeseburger, the restaurant will feature an assorted cuisine that will include traditional American favorites, fresh fish dishes and house specialties inspired by the warm breezes of the Caribbean. Island favorites include the Coral Reefer Crab Cakes, Son of a Son of Sailor salad and Black Beards Shrimp. The tiki bar includes an extensive drink menu offering a variety of frozen favorites such as Margaritas, Pina Coladas and the coldest “draft beer.” In addition to live music and regularly scheduled performers to complement the island atmosphere, special events will include fun island promotions throughout the year.
A visit to Cheeseburger in Paradise is like a trip to an island fantasy. Even the Key West-style building beckons guests to leave their hectic daily lives behind and escape to an evocative world of swaying palm trees, sea adventures and beautiful beaches. Cheeseburger in Paradise will serve dinner seven days a week and lunch on the weekends.

Carrabba’s Italian Grill is opening its doors at Silver Sands as well, featuring high quality Italian dishes from original family recipes. Carrabba’s full flavored dishes are handmade using only the best of ingredients, and each meal is prepared to order. Signature dishes include crispy Calamari, Chicken Bryan, Sirloin Marsala, and fresh fish cooked over a wood-fired grill. Other long-time favorites include homemade Lasagne and Chicken Parmesan. An extensive wine collection is available to complement menu selections. Known for its warm, casual environment, Carrabba’s welcomes guests with a feeling of genuine hospitality.
