Restaurants Rock the Docks (November 2, 2007)

What: ROCK THE DOCKS - A FREE Benefit Concert and Tasting Event
When: November 2nd 2007, 7:00pm
Cost: Concert is FREE and open to the public - Tasting Armbands $20.00 per person

The hottest Gulf Coast restaurants will be stirring up a good time for a good cause on November 2nd 2007 at the HarborWalk Village docks, located at the foot of the Lucky Snapper at 7:00pm.

The Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association's Northwest Florida chapter will host a A free concert featuring the Southern Rock Band, PUSH, and a benefit tasting event to kick-off the festivities of the Destin World Cup racing event this upcoming weekend. Fresh local fare from the Gulf Coast's hottest restaurants will feature tastings of their signature cuisine while guests have the opportunity to eat, drink, dance and meet DESTIN WORLD CUP power boat racing teams.

Eateries participating include Legendary's offering of their tasty coastal barbeque with featured restaurants Rutherford's 465 and Tony's. Chef Bruce Macadoo's features Seagar's award- winning cuisine while Zampieri's Harbor Grille offers sampling of their renowned house-made Andouile/ duck gumbo. Fleming's Steak House selected fresh rare tuna on endive with a savory goat cheese, while the Boiling Point will offering a locals favorite, traditional coastal seafood boil. Restaurants from Pensacola, The Fish House, Atlas and Great Southern Cafe offer savory crowd favorites, Grits A YA YA.

The chefs samplings will be perfectly paired with freshly made cocktails, cold beer and specialty beverages including Woodford Reserve Infused Bourbons, freshly made Margarita's, Grey Goose Pear martini's and various other seasonal refreshments provided by Budweiser and Premier beverage.
